Auctioneer's Comments:
Don’t miss this Surplus Equipment Absolute Auction. Olympic
Metals in Loudon, TN made the decision in 2003 to focus their
metalworking business on the new stretching and leveling technologies to
meet ISO 9000 standards required in the automotive industry. This
successful investment in the Redbud Stretcher Leveler has altered their
business and they no longer have the need for the metalworking equipment
that was part of their fabrication shop. Furrow Auction Company is
pleased to offer this well maintained fabrication equipment at Absolute
Auction.

Auction Also Includes a 50' Utility Boat
Built in Bellingham, Washington in
1980, this 50' Uniflite ex-Navy Utility Boat was formerly used to
transport up to 146 sailors and a crew of 3 from ship-to-shore and back.
It has been gutted to the hull in preparation for remodeling, and stored
inside for protection from the weather.
The boat was powered by a 671 Detroit diesel engine
with very few hours of use. It is 50' long, 15' wide at the beam, and
drafts 4.5'. Comes with: 671 Detroit engine; Allison hydraulic
transmission (1.5/1 ratio); 26' bronze prop on a 2" shaft; complete
cradles & slings; full set of original plans & government specs; and
complete steering components.
This Foam-in-Place hull has 7 layers of woven roving
and 1 layer of mat in a durable fiberglass hull for maximum flotation
and safety for our troops.
The bids will be FOB our plant in Loudon, TN. We will
gladly help find a shipper and load it, but the freight cost is yours.
Feel free to come inspect.
