ABSOLUTE AUCTION
|
Personal Property of
Wylie Milligan
409 Main Street
Greeneville, TN
Saturday, March 18th, 2006 - 10:00 AM
Inspection: Friday, March 17th 9-4 PM
Auctioneer's Comments:
Since 1850 the Milligan
home has belonged to members of the Brown family in Greeneville.
The
Browns were founders of the city of Greeneville in the 1700’s and have
played an important role throughout the city’s long history. Wylie
Milligan can no longer care for this large house, has sold the 9000
sq/ft residence, and has hired Furrow Auction Company to sell personal
property at Absolute Auction. Twelve generations of the family have
accumulated an enormous amount of china, silverware, furniture,
collectibles, and more. The stories behind the items in this sale
contain not only the history of the Brown family, but the history of
Greeneville, TN.
